Entrevista a Fundación Energizar – Energías Renovables
Energizar es una fundación Argentina creada con el fin de contribuir al desarrollo humano sustentable mediante la investigación y promoción de energías renovables.
Los proyectos de la Fundación Energizar son creados con el fin de que en cualquier lugar del planeta se pueda tener acceso a una fuente de energía limpia y a bajo costo. Sus esfuerzos por demostrar que un nuevo tipo de fuente de energía es posible se complementan con el interés social de devolver esos conocimientos a los sectores más necesitados de la comunidad.
La fundación se basa en tres áreas de trabajo: programas y proyectos educativos; investigación y desarrollo en tecnología aplicable a energías renovables; y campañas de construcción, instalación, asesoramiento y capacitación en fuentes de energía limpias.
En esta entrevista, Energizar nos muestra dos de sus trabajos más recientes relacionados con el desarrollo tecnológico de energías renovables: el Colector Solar y el Bici Generador.
Colector Solar
El Colector Solar es un sistema simple que abastece de agua caliente al hogar. Consiste un conjunto de tubos de vidrio vacíos que contienen una pintura selectiva oscura que facilita una mayor captación de los rayos solares. Estos tubos orientados hacia el sol, utilizan el principio de termosifón, probocanco que el calor en los tubos suba y eleve la temperatura del agua que se almacena en un termotanque, y desde allí salga hacia los diferentes sectores de la vivienda.
Bici Generador
El Bici Generador ha sido el principal proyecto tecnológico desarrollado y aplicado por Fundación Energizar. Consiste en un sistema de dos bicicletas solidarias que al ser pedaleadas generan energía eléctrica que es almacenada y convertida en 220V, 50Hz para su posterior utilización. El sistema autogenera su propia energía eléctrica alimentando una mini computadora que mide la potencia generada por las bicicletas, almacena dichos valores, realiza estadísticas y cálculos de reducción de huella de carbono y los muestra en una pantalla.
El proyecto, pensado con un fin educativo, puede ser utilizado en diferentes eventos permitiendo que las personas que se suban a las bicicletas contribuyan generando energía para mantener las luces y electrónicos del evento encendidos. De esta forma concientiza sobre el uso y ahorro de energía: “permite conocer cuánta energía uno genera y así comprender que ese esfuerzo es el mismo que hace el planeta para mantener nuestras luces encendidas”
