Entrevista a ProHuerta
En el stand de ProHuerta en la feria Exposustenta 2014, María Cristina Rabus nos cuenta sobre el proyecto.
El programa ProHuerta es un desarrollo que depende del INTA, y su misión principal es poder facilitar a las familias Argentinas las semillas y herramientas para que puedan desarrollar en sus hogares una huerta familiar.
ProHuerta un programa de políticas públicas que promueve las prácticas productivas agroecológicas para el autoabastecimiento, la educación alimentaria, la promoción de ferias y mercados alternativos con una mirada inclusiva de las familias productoras.
Es una política pública, implementada por el Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria del Ministerio de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca de la Nación y el Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de la Nación a través del Plan Nacional de Seguridad Alimentaria, que permite realizar un abordaje integral de las diferentes realidades que plantea nuestro vasto territorio argentino.
Este abordaje territorial e integral llega a las familias productoras a través de la promoción de la producción agroecológica, tanto para el autoabastecimiento, la educación alimentaria, la comercialización en ferias y mercados alternativos y el rescate de especies, saberes y costumbres populares, con una mirada inclusiva que valora y potencia la diversidad.
Esta práctica productiva promueve el uso de técnicas amigables con el medio ambiente, el aprovechamiento de recursos locales y el uso de tecnologías apropiadas que mejoran el hábitat y la calidad de vida de las familias productoras y todo su entorno y toda su comunidad.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and
