Los agrocombustibles fueron promocionados como fuente alternativa de energía limpia y segura, pero esto no es así. De hecho, las principales fomentadoras de esta idea son las grandes empresas alimenticias como Cargill, Monsanto, etc.
Los agro combustibles se producen principalmente del maíz, la soja, caña de azúcar, entre otros, y esto nos lleva a formular una simple pregunta: si la madre tierra tiene una cantidad de tierra limitada para el cultivo ¿que se ira a cultivar en el futuro, alimentos para humanos o para las maquinas? Parece una pregunta infantil pero no lo es.
